Light of Nature (2019)
Light of Nature was about creating a family of different candle holders that were inspired by the different structures of moss and their surfaces and colors. Working with thrown clay bodies for the holders and afterwards creating the structure by removing or applying clay.
The sustainable cup (2020)
I worked to include nature’s narrative, the human hand, good craftsmanship and a sense of recognition. All of these elements should combine to give the design a sense of depth and sensation that the user can identify with.
Farther and Daughter (2020)
My father and I collaborate in creating handcrafted jars with lids. While I specialize in throwing the jars on the ceramic wheel, he meticulously turns the wooden lids.It's a cool collaboration where we each do our own thing, but it all comes together in the end.
Green Glazes (2021)
Green glazes was about creating a shade of green glazes inspired from the road I walk to school and the different colors that emerge in the leaves of the trees in the spring.
Outsider (2022)
Outsider revolves around sculpting a unique piece from thrown clay bodies, symbolizing the beauty of being different, loud, and standing out - embracing the role of an outsider in a positive light
Christmas Table (2023)
In my interpretation of a Christmas Table I blend the cozy traditions of old-school dinners with the whimsy of gift wrapping. It's a mix of classic charm and playful naivety that captures the essence of the holiday season.
Surfaces (2024)
Surfaces is all about playing with clay to create different textures and forms, capturing moments inspired by nature. The goal is to pique curiosity in the viewer and encourage them to touch and explore the pieces
